Nordstrom Spotlights Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Sculpt’ Capsule of Heels, Boots and More in Latest ‘Make Room for Shoes’ Campaign

Nordstrom just teamed up with Stuart Weitzman for the latest edition of its “Make Room for Shoes” program, and it’s already making waves.

The department store, which went private this year, joined forces with the luxury shoe and accessories brand for a month-long event that gives Nordstrom customers access to a limited-edition capsule collection of footwear.

The exclusive Stuart Weitzman shoe collection spotlights the Stuart Sculpt styles, a sleek reinterpretation of workwear silhouettes infused with comfort-first design and artisan precision. The Stuart Sculpt capsule is crafted in Spain and features a range of styles including knee-high block heel boots and loafers.

Tacey Powers, executive vice president and general merchandise manager for shoes at Nordstrom, told FN that the retailer is excited to collaborate with Stuart Weitzman on its latest “Make Room for Shoes” campaign.

“Stuart Weitzman is known for masterfully blending modern design with timeless sophistication, and this capsule is a stunning reflection of that vision,” Powers said. “Created exclusively for Nordstrom, the Stuart Sculpt capsule introduces a limited-edition lineup of reimagined silhouettes – each crafted to elevate personal style while incorporating incredible all-day comfort into a beautifully designed shoe. We’re excited to share this standout collection with our customers.”

First announced in February 2024, the “Make Room for Shoes” initiative comes to life through monthly partnerships with some of the industry’s top footwear brands. So far, the retailer has highlighted brands such as Adidas, On, Birkenstock, Sam Edelman, Larroudé, Dolce Vita, Reformation, Tory Burch, Sperry, Ugg and Vionic.

This latest edition of “Make Room for Shoes” comes after Nordstrom said last year that its focus on its footwear roots is paying off.

On one of the company’s last earnings calls before going private, Pete Nordstrom, president of the Seattle-based department store chain, told analysts in November that its “Make Room for Shoes” campaign was one of the contributors to its growth in the period.

This launch also comes one month after Stuart Weitzman tapped Emma Chamberlain, Ilana Glazer and Ashley Graham for its latest campaign. Shot by fashion photographer Ned Rogers, Chamberlain, Glazer and Graham are seen in iconic NYC locations.

In August, Caleres Inc. closed the acquisition of the Stuart Weitzman brand from Tapestry Inc.

The shoe deal was initially disclosed in February. At the time, the agreement was for Caleres to buy the brand for $105 million. The transaction at the close was for $120.2 million. The higher amount represents a reimbursement of $11.5 million in cash that Tapestry left in a connected Spanish entity, along with working capital in the form of inventory and accounts receivable, being transferred over. Excluding the cash reimbursement, the transaction value is $108.7 million.
