by It’s been quite an eventful awards season. From the start of the circuit with the Golden Globes to the highly-anticipated Grammys, the stars have showed up and out week after week. And although the season has come to an unofficial end tonight with the Oscars, it went out with a huge bang. The star power was off the charts tonight, March 2, 2025, when droves of A-listers filed into Dolby Theater for Hollywood’s Biggest Night, the 97th Annual Academy Awards.
The three-hour ceremony saw the Anora cast break out into huge smiles and shed a few happy tears while accepting the top honor of Best Picture, while Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody gave poignant speeches for their respective Best Actress and Best Actor honors. Not to mention, the crowd was dressed to the nines in the most glamorous ensembles; performances from Lisa, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo had everyone out of their seats; and Conan O’Brien scored lots of chuckles by landing quite a few jokes.
While there was plenty of action on the screen, there were also many cheeky moments behind the scenes—from Jeff Goldblum stalking Grande on his phone to Samuel L. Jackson grinning ear-to-ear while getting a selfie with Selena Gomez. Scroll on for everything you didn’t see on TV at the 2025 Oscars.
