Tecovas has expanded its work boot category with the launch of its first women’s style.
Called the “Long Haul Waterproof Round Composite Toe Work Boot,” the Austin-based Western brand’s newest silhouette comes after it first launched its men’s work category late last year.
Tecovas said in a statement that the women’s Long Haul boot is an intentional, women’s-specific design that blends performance-driven style, all-day comfort, and Tecovas’ signature craftsmanship.
The shoe model is a streamlined, women’s-specific silhouette with an 8-inch shaft and 1.5-inch heel for stability. It’s also made with premium leather and Goodyear welt construction and features a MuckOff rubber outsole for slip resistance. The style is available in two colorways – Tan/Cafe and Midnight.
Tecovas’ new women’s Long Haul boot, which retails for $245, is now available at Tecovas.com.

The launch comes days after it was announced that Tecovas is set to expand its New York City store footprint. According to Empire State Realty Trust, Tecovas will take over the 4,174-square-foot space at 89 N. 6th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Details of when the store will open to the public were not disclosed.
When reached by FN, a representative for Tecovas noted that since opening the doors to its SoHo store last fall, the company has “seen a sustained interest” in Western wear from tourists and local New Yorkers alike. “We are looking forward to expanding Tecovas’ presence with this Williamsburg location and bringing more boots to the New York City area,” the rep said.
