Margot Robbie has officially made the switch from Catherine Earnshaw to cowgirl, trading in corsets and chokers for cowboy boots.
On March 16, the Wuthering Heights star attended a Los Angeles screening of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. Robbie embraced the horse girl trend in every possible way, effectively proving that her reign as Cathy is finally over. She wore a strapless black minidress with a trendy bubble-style skirt.

Staying true to the Y2K boho-chic trend, the actor wrapped a thick studded black belt around her hips. With her slouchy black cowboy boots, chestnut-hued leather jacket, and messy bob, the look read more Glastonbury circa 2006 than 1800s Yorkshire.

Of course, this is a decidedly different look than the vintage-inspired outfits Robbie has been sporting for months. The Wuthering Heights press tour saw her embracing romantic, gothic vibes, with plenty of lace, corsets, feathers, and latex.
Gone also are Robbie’s extra-long, dirty-blonde waves. Just a few weeks ago, Robbie debuted a sharp, angular bob with wispy bangs at Paris Fashion Week, firmly declaring the end of her Cathy Earnshaw era.

This aesthetic shift likely stems from Robbie’s many upcoming projects. She’s producing six different films at the moment, including an untitled Ocean’s prequel, in which she is also set to star. And if her press tours with Barbie and Wuthering Heights are any indicator, the star will be embodying a new, Oceans-themed look very soon.
